After 20 years building for other companies, Javier started CJ Builds to put his experience — and his name — behind work of his own. You'll have a real conversation about what's possible, what it will take, and what makes sense for your home.
Fair pricing matters. So does your budget. Javier is happy to talk through the numbers and find a scope that works for both of you. Above all, he wants you to be happy with the result.

Three steps, and
none of them scary.
You don't need drawings, measurements or a final decision. A photo and a rough idea is plenty to start.

Javier walks you through scope, timing and what the project genuinely needs — including what it doesn't.

06 — Straight answers
The questions
everybody asks.
What does a retaining wall cost?
It depends almost entirely on height, length, soil and access — a two-foot garden wall and an eight-foot structural wall are different projects. Javier would rather look at your site and give you a real number than publish a range that turns out to be wrong for you.
Do you work in my area?
CJ Builds is Washington-based. Send your city with your message and Javier will confirm straight away whether he can get to you.
Who actually does the work?
Javier. That's the whole point of the business. You talk to the person doing the job, and he's the one accountable for how it turns out.
How new is CJ Builds?
The company is new. The experience isn't — Javier has been on the tools for twenty years, most of it building for other companies. He'd rather tell you that plainly than pretend otherwise.

Not yet. They're licensed photography and design concepts, credited below, shown so you can point at what you like. Javier's own project photos go up as jobs finish.
How soon will I hear back?
He's on a job site most of the day, so a text often gets a faster reply than a call. Leave your city and what you're planning and he'll come back to you.
